Lemon Going Home

Lemon,a lemon colored Walker hound from North Carolina in a high kill shelter overwhelmed with unwanted dogs, strays, surrenders. With a lot of help,I managed to get her out in the nick of time, and through fosters and a chain of transport volunteers she eventually made it to me.Rescued 9/24.

This wonderful soul is on the last few hours of a near month long journey to her new life.Lemon, who I pulled from euthanasia in a shelter in North Carolina,to a her loving foster home in South Carolina,to a stay at a rescue in Minnesota,to a cross country journey with so many volunteers driving,to an overnight in Boise ID,to my buddy driving all night to bring her to Bend,Oregon. What it takes and the amount of people coming together to save a life,is so special,so profound and so amazing.Thank you all, upward and onward Lemon 🍋 ❤️🐾
