Sisters Tera & Sora

My first dogs from the horrors of the dog meat trade are entering their senior years and what an incredible experience it’s been to see them progress and live. They were about to be tortured and skinned, boiled alive at 6 months, now they begin to grey as they approach 9 years old.Sisters Tera and Sora and the fear I felt to attempt to rescue and heal them, has become a life changing event and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Tera and Sora,my first experience and rescue from the horrendous and torturous dog meat trade of Asia.My introduction and first rescue of hundreds of survivors from South Korea and China.Tera and Sora, sisters trapped in a dungeon, ice cold, unlit(on purpose to keep the dogs quiet)metal slaughterhouse ironically a half mile from Olympic Village in Seoul South Korea. They had been surviving by eating their dead cage mates and were cut, sick and pumped full of cheap antibiotics with tainted needles. And they were about to be sent directly into the human food chain like that.My biggest challenge and accomplishment in rescue so far,I slept with them in a 10 x 6 kennel in the garage for 3 months to heal them.Rescued 10/16.
