Jun 6, 2022 • 2 weeks ago today this dude,
this beautiful soul, a fluffy man named Bear arrived to the complete safety and love of my wonderful mom and dad’s house. A survivor of the dog meat trade of South Korea, to what would have been done to him, to now what he is experiencing, there are no words to describe.Saving dogs from the meat trade was and still is a bucket list for me,adopting one to my parents was on that list, check the box.My mom still working 40 hours in her 70’s, my dad always fixing things, building stuff, never saying no when my sister and I need him at age 74, both offering to cook for me,listen, help, love.Maybe this is my folks last dog, maybe not, but in life in rescue, what you give,is often given back tenfold, shared, experienced, learned.Bear is living that,he is in a chain of lifelong love, not in a nonsensical food chain. My sister Heidi’s family allowed me to bring their dogs from South Korea and a shelter,my mom and dad have done the same, LOVE.
