Happy 5th Birthday Big John, from a disgusting, medieval, dungeon SK dog meat farm cage to the king of our love filled castle. You are the perfect dog……calm, joyful, kind, loyal, so happy. I’ve never seen you get mad, I watch 7-8 dogs try to tackle you, the whole time you smile and play gently with them. You sit next to me, you lick my head each morning to greet me, when I broke my ribs, you allowed me to pull myself off the couch with the strength of your body. You weren’t supposed to live past 5 months, your baby, puppy flesh was to be beaten tender while you were still alive, your puppy coat skinned off you while you screamed, your malnourished, parasite stuffed, puppy stomach was to be pulverized into “Sonju”dog wine and labeled as a magical, tonic elixir for the insane. You were never to see the sun, feel the touch of a human hand, the only thing meant to touch your soft puppy head was a crowbar. You made it, you are the best. I wish there was more homes here for dogs like you here, I wish I could save you all, I wish there wasn’t a crazed doodle infestation in this country, I wish more people would stand against the dog meat trade, I wish this post mattered.
